"INSTITUTE OF ADVOCATE OF PUBLIC SERVICES" is a voluntry, non-profit, non-political organisation registered under socities Act 1860. The Institute was registered under the Presidentship of Shri Ajit Kumar advocate Lucknow on 24th December,1987 with the main aim of rendering legal and social services for removal of ills in the society, paticluarly,to the weaker section of the society.Mere enactment of laws does not by itself remove the imbalance in the society, such as evils of dowry, atrocities on womens,unemployment, population growth. These are some problems which are inhibiting the development of our nation. Coupled with this, there are other imbalances in the society which the government policies alone cannot solve but will have to be addressed by Social Organisation and Voluntary bodies who have commitment for development of weaker section of the society. .

With this aim in view , the " Institute of Advocates of Public Services" luanched a modest begining to provide free legal aid, employment guidance to unemployed youth, social service to weaker sections of the society particularly, of Women folk so that they are made aware about their rights as well as have access to the various davelopment programmes of Government from time to time.
